<SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: '맑은 고딕'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: KO; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">To whom it may concern: I have taught in Seoul for two years beginning early February and had lots of experience teaching students privately and at camps.  I was interested in your school because I would be well fitted to work in an environment with such a diversity of classes.  Working in both an elementary public school and a hawgwon, I understand a student's skill to work hard and also enjoy what they are doing.   Having experienced the difficulties in transitioning to a different country, especially without living outside of Orange County for most of my life, I have overcome the challenges and have really started to appreciate the best Seoul has to offer. In addition to holding ESL cafes with other foreign students and practicing Korean on the side, I strive hard to prove that Korean Americans or of any United States national can be a beacon of hope and respect to Korean students.   In addition to my experience working in Korea, I have also worked at a counseling center which challenged me to be empathetic and a detailed listener.  These made me a better communicator, and in essence, a much better educator.  During my studies at the University of California, I have also made great strides to learn more about becoming a better teacher by taking preliminary teaching courses.  During my experience in Korea, I have gained 120 hours of TESOL course training, invaluable experiences working with Korean children, and the appreciation of learning more about my Korean heritage. I look forward to hearing from you.
