I officially graduate from the University of Auckland in New Zealand in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching and Linguistics, for which I have completed all requirements. I am writing to apply for a full-time position in the area of English teaching for elementary students.

Since I qualified for entrance to the University of Auckland, I spent some time deciding what I would really love to study at university, and to do in the future after graduation. Later I discovered the English Language Teaching and Linguistics course and I decided to take this course as my major at university. Since then, I have thoroughly worked on learning and studying the techniques and skills of English teaching and education, and applied these to students at English camps in Korea and to students that I taught privately in New Zealand (of age range from elementary level to high school level). 
<o:p> </o:p> 
At university, I had amazing opportunities to learn diverse aspects of teaching and learning English such as pronunciation, accent, grammar, syntax, public speaking, academic writing, lesson planning, lesson demonstration, linguistics and so on. Throughout this time of learning and teaching English, I discovered common mistakes that a majority of students make, what should they improve on, and more effective ways to teach them English. 
<o:p> </o:p> 
After many years of research, learning, teaching English, I finally realized that teaching English to elementary students is what I am most inspired to do, and what I most enjoy about teaching. Especially, I am attracted to the characteristics that most elementary students have, such as being open-minded, creative, courageous and fearless, all qualities that are similar to my characteristics.
