I want to apply for the post of ESL teacher. I would like to use my experience to develop my career in Korea and experience a new country and culture. My last post was in Dubai and I have travelled to many Asian countries.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> I am a UK citizen and English is my first language.<o:p></o:p> I hold a PGCE and I have been teaching for twenty years in schools and colleges of further education. Most of my teaching has been in inner cities and my students have come from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds. Many of them have not had English as their first language.<o:p></o:p> I also hold a CELTA certificate and I have taught English to overseas students .<o:p></o:p> I use humour extensively as a tool for classroom management and I provide an atmosphere in which students enjoy their work and have the opportunity to achieve their potential. My students have enjoyed examination success. In my last OFSTED inspection, in January 2008, my results were described as “outstanding” in the official report.<o:p></o:p> Pease find my curriculum vitae attached.
